We have now decided on a location for the commemorative bench at Priory Country Park in Bedford, dedicated to Grandad. Grandad was ever so fond of walking the dogs round Priory and I know many of us have walked around the lake and fields with him too. He was truly part of the dog walking community there. Bedford Borough Council offer the bench for £1600 (inc VAT). The bench would be a 5ft Tudor bench in hardwood with a bronze plaque. I have received an invoice from Bedford Borough for £1,600 for the bench and I am now asking for the donations to be kindly transferred over to me.
